Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship 2017 for ST, Maharashtra, Class 11

Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra invites applications to encourage backward class students to undergo Post-Matric Courses. The scheme is known as the Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship for ST students.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship:

A student must have passed Class 10
Family annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 Lac
A student must be domicile in Maharashtra state
A student must not be a repeater of a class.A student must have passed the previous year examination

Stipend

For Hostellers/Day Scholars award will be given in groups:

Group 1: INR 550 to 1200
Group 2: INR 530 to 820
Group 3: INR 300 to 570
Group 4: INR 230 to 380

Additional to this Reader Allowance will also be given:

Group1-2: INR 240
Group 3: INR 200
Group 4: INR 160
Escort Allowance: INR 160 per month.
Special Pay: INR 160
For Mentally retired, extra coaching: INR 240 per month
Study Tours: INR 1600 per annum
Thesis Typing/Printing: INR 1600 per annum
Book Grant: INR 1200 per annum

How To Apply

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through following steps:

Step 1: Click here to register as a new user (Note: Candidate should have a mobile number registered with their Aadhaar card to ensure seamless and fast application process.)

Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.

Step 3: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.

Step 4: Complete the registration process by filling in all required details.

Step 5: Log in using username or password.

Step 6: Complete the application process for the scholarship.
