Scholarship for O.B.C. Students, Maharashtra 2017-18, Class 11

Social Justice & Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra invites applications for the scheme named Tuition Fees and Examination Fees to O.B.C. Students.This scheme is for the O.B.C. students studying in Class 11 to post-graduation. The aim of this scheme is to encourage the OBC students towards higher education by reimbursing their tuition, examination and other fees.


Eligibility

To be eligible for the reimbursement, an applicant must:

  1. Belong to Other Backward Class (OBC)
  2. Be studying in Class 11 to post-graduation
  3. Have the annual income of the parents between INR 1,00,000 to INR 4,50,000


Stipend

Under this scheme, the tuition fees, admission fees, library fees, laboratory fees, term fees, examination fee and gymkhana fee will be reimbursed to the eligible students

Note:

  1. The students who are not covered under the government of India and the students with one failure will also be eligible for the reimbursement
  2. Only 50% Education fees will be allowed to professional courses


How To Apply

In order to apply, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Click hereto register as a new user (Note: Candidate should have a mobile number registered with their Aadhaar card to ensure seamless and fast application process.)

Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through biometric or OTP.

Step 3: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.

Step 4: Complete the registration process by filling in all required details.

Step 5: Log in using username or password.

           Step 6: Complete the application process for the scholarship.

  11. Caste certificate issued by the Competent authority
