Post-Matric Scholarship & Other Educational Facilities to SBC students 2017, Maharashtra, Class 12

The Government of Maharashtra has introduced Post-Matric Scholarship & Other Educational Facilities to SBC students 2017. To encourage the students of special backward classes to pursue higher education under the Government resolution, this scheme has been introduced. 100% scholarships will be provided by the State government for this scheme.

Eligibility

Eligibility for the scholarship:

Family annual income should not be more than INR 1 Lac per annum.If a candidate is engaged in a full-time employment, he/she is not eligible for the scholarship
If a candidate is a repeater of the same class, he/she is also not eligible for the scholarship
Candidate should not receive any other scholarship
Two children of the same family are eligible to apply for the scheme(excluding girls)

Stipend

Scholarships of INR 150 to INR 450 per month will be given to day-scholar students and INR 90 to INR 190 per month will be given to hostellers.

How To Apply

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through following steps:

Step 1: Click here to register as a new user (Note: Candidate should have a mobile number registered with their Aadhaar card to ensure seamless and fast application process.)

Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.

Step 3: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.

Step 4: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.

Step 5: Log in using username or password.

Step 6: Complete the application process for the scholarship.
