Tata Building India Online Essay Competition 2017-18, Class 7

The Tata Building India School Essay Competition is one of the key initiatives undertaken by the Tata group of companies to motivate the youth of India towards thinking about nation building. The essay competition provides a unique platform to encourage young leaders of tomorrow to showcase their expressions in writing, on a host of subjects related to nation-building. Started in 2006 with 6 cities and 1 lakh students in the English language, the competition has grown manifold to become India's largest essay competition touching almost 2 million students across 8 languages in 2010-11. The current year program is set to yet again touch 2-2.5 million students in 5000+ schools nationwide. The idea of the competition has been very well received by both the students and the teaching fraternity reflected by the overwhelming response from participating schools and students. It is the belief of the Tata group of companies that the young minds of the country if directed positively, can bring greater recognition and glory to the nation.

Students of class 6 to 12 are eligible to apply

Stipend

National level winners receive laptops as the grand prize & other winners and runners-up receive gifts like Digicam / Handycam / MP3 player, Certificates, and trophies.

How To Apply

The online edition is open to all school students and the next edition 2014-15 will start from 1 July 2014 the last date of submission will be 1^st July 2015. Online version permits to participate Only once in an academic year on the randomly selected topics which appears on the screen after registration. However, in case multiple entries are made by a student the latest entry made by the participant will only be considered for evaluation. All essays submitted online will be categorized in two levels Junior 6 to 8 th std & Senior 9th to 12 th std and will be evaluated by Judges on the parameters of Relevance to topic, Language, Structure, Creativity, Communication of idea, and the winners will be announced on the Website and Facebook page of Tata Building India . All winners will receive a citation. This is an attempt to reach out to School students were Tata Building India school Essay competition is not held at the school level.
