IIT Goa releases cut-off list for JEE Advanced 2018 after the declaration of the result. Candidates securing the minimum required marks will get their names in JEE Advanced 2018 merit list and a call for counseling in IIT Goa. - IIT Goa cut-off 2016 was released on 11th June 2016 by IIT Madras and IIT Goa cut-off 2016 was released on 4th June by IIT Guwahati. Eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE advanced 2018?
All candidates must meet each of the following five criteria to give JEE Advanced 2018:
- Candidates should be among the top 2,24,000* (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2018 then only he/she will be eligible to get admission in IIT Goa.

- Age limit for IIT Goa cut-off 2018: Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1993. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates for IIT Goa cut-off 2018, i. e. these candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1988.
- Number of attempts for IIT Goa cut-off 2018: A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced 2018 a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
- Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: A candidate aspiring for admissions into IIT Goa should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2018 else he/she will not be eligible for IIT Goa cut-off 2018.
- Earlier admission at IIT Goa: A candidate should nothave been admitted in IIT Goa otherwise, he/she will not be eligible for admissions into IIT Goa in 2018. Candidates whose admission at any IIT was cancelled after joining any IIT are also not eligible to appear in IIT Goa cut-off 2018.
What is the expected result date for JEE Advanced 2018?
Since many students give JEE Advanced 2018, it will take time to announce the result and therefore IIT Goa cut-off 2018. With the examination scheduled for May 20th 2018, students can expect the JEE Advanced Result 2018 to be declared on June 10th 2018 and subsequently IIT Goa cut-off 2018 will be released after a few weeks. Students can check their result for IIT Goa on JEE Advanced official website. Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the online portal after the results for IIT Goa are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers to let them know whether they are qualified for IIT Goa cut-off 2018.
What is the reservation policy for IIT Goa cut-off 2018?
IIT Goa 2018 reservation policy can be availed by candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD/Defence Personnel categories in IIT Goa. The rules for the reservation of seats are designed by the government of India for IIT Goa cut-off 2018. The category once submitted in IIT Goa records, cannot be changed under any circumstances. Valid Proofs of eligibility need to be submitted in order to avail the reservation. Note that the students should have lower IIT Goa cut-off 2018 rank lists.
Children of paramilitary/defence personnel killed or permanently disabled in war or peacetime operations will be considered under the category of Defence Service (DS) candidates in IIT Goa cut-off 2018. Two seats will be available for preferential allotment for DS candidates in IIT Goa cut-off 2018.
What is the admission procedure for IIT Goa?
IIT Goa has a comprehensive graduate program offering doctoral degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The undergraduate students at IIT Goa are selected through the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2018 of the IITs for the undergraduate curriculum. Admission to the B-Tech and Dual Degree (B-Tech + M-Tech) programme in IIT Goa is done through the Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE-Advanced) ALL INDIA RANKING (AIR).
Admission will be based only on category wise in IIT Goa by All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced), subject to the condition that the students are in the top 20 percentiles of their Boards in respective categories.
