National Institute of Technology Rourkela Cut-Off 2021
National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, also known as NIT Rourkela, is one of the best institutions for higher studies. NIT Rourkela releases cut-off list for JEE Main 2019 after the declaration of the result. The range of ranks secured by candidates who are allotted seats in a specific programme at NIT Rourkela will become the opening and closing rank for the particular course. Opening rank and closing rank of NIT Rourkela cut-off in 2019 will be the minimum marks the candidates need to get to secure a seat at NIT Rourkela. NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019 will differ for candidates from different categories. The cutoff of JEE Main for NIT Rourkela will be available here as soon as it is released officially. Only those candidates who meet the NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019 will be allowed to participate in the counselling session.
When will the NIT Rourkela cut-off 2021 be out?
- NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019 will be out after the declaration of JEE Main 2019 result. Hence the NIT Rourkela Cut Off 2019 will be available only after JEE Main 2019.

- NIT Rourkela 2019 cut-off will be available category-wise, institution-wise and branch-wise. It must be noted that the NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019 will vary from branch to branch, category to category and institute to institute.
- JAB (Joint Admission Board) declared the JEE Main Cut Off 2018 on 30th April 2018.Cut-off marks for all the categories is indicated on the scorecard of candidates. JEE Main Cut off 2019 is the minimum marks required by a candidate to be eligible for admission to B.Tech/B.E. and B.Arch./B.Plan programs in various NITs, INITs, and other top engineering colleges. The cut off marks for General category this year is 74.

What is the Eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Main 2019?
- Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: A candidate aspiring for admissions into NIT Rourkela should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2018 or 2019 else he/she will not be eligible for NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019.
- Earlier admission at NIT Rourkela: A candidate should nothave been admitted in NIT Rourkela otherwise, he/she will not be eligible for admissions into NIT Rourkela in 2019. Candidates whose admission at any NIT was cancelled after joining any NIT are also not eligible to appear in NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019.

· Students who were born on or after October 1, 1993 are eligible to apply for NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019. · Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), must have been born on or after October 1, 1988 to be eligible for NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019. Candidates of these categories have been given a relaxation of 5 years. Note: Date of birth will be considered as mentioned in the Secondary Education Board/ University certificate. |

What is the reservation policy for NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019?
NIT Rourkela 2019 reservation policy can be availed by candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD/Defence Personnel categories in NIT Rourkela. The rules for the reservation of seats are designed by the government of India for NIT Rourkela cut-off 2019. The category once submitted in National Institute of Technology Rourkela records, cannot be changed under any circumstances. What is the admission procedure for NIT Rourkela?
NIT Rourkela has a comprehensive graduate program offering doctoral degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The undergraduate students at NIT Rourkela are selected through the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2019 of the NITs for the undergraduate curriculum. Admission to the B-Tech and Dual Degree (B-Tech + M-Tech) programme in NIT Rourkela is done through the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE-Main) All India Ranking (AIR).
