Eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE advanced 2018?

All candidates must meet each of the following five criteria to give JEE Advanced 2018:

• Candidates should be among the top 2,24,000* (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2018 then only he/she will be eligible to get admission in IIT Patna.

 Category-wise distribution of top 2,24,000* candidates (Criterion 1)

• Age limit for IIT Patna cut-off 2018: Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1993. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates for IIT Patna cut-off 2018, i. e. these candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1988.
• Number of attempts for IIT Patna cut-off 2018: A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced 2018 a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
• Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: A candidate aspiring for admissions into IIT Patna should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2018 else he/she will not be eligible for IIT Patna cut-off 2018.
• Earlier admission at IIT Patna: A candidate should nothave been admitted in IIT Patna otherwise, he/she will not be eligible for admissions into IIT Patna in 2018. Candidates whose admission at any IIT was cancelled after joining any IIT are also not eligible to appear in IIT Patna cut-off 2018.

JEE Advanced- IIT Patna Cut-Off 2016 for SC

IIT Patna cut-off 2016 for Scheduled Castes category consists of the minimum cut-off ranks that a SC category applicant will have to secure to be eligible for admission in IIT Patna. The Scheduled Castes category applicants aspiring for IIT Patna who manage to secure the required ranks for admissions into IIT Patna will be allotted seats in the engineering courses offered by IIT Patna. What is the expected result date for JEE Advanced 2018?

Since many students give JEE Advanced 2018, it will take time to announce the result and therefore IIT Patna cut-off 2018. What is the reservation policy for IIT Patna cut-off 2018?

IIT Patna 2018 reservation policy can be availed by candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD/Defence Personnel categories in IIT Patna. The rules for the reservation of seats are designed by the government of India for IIT Patna cut-off 2018. The category once submitted in IIT Patna records, cannot be changed under any circumstances.  Valid Proofs of eligibility need to be submitted in order to avail the reservation. Children of paramilitary/defence personnel killed or permanently disabled in war or peacetime operations will be considered under the category of Defence Service (DS) candidates in IIT Patna cut-off 2018. IIT Patna has a comprehensive graduate program offering doctoral degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  The undergraduate students at IIT Patna are selected through the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2018 of the IITs for the undergraduate curriculum. Admission to the B-Tech and Dual Degree (B-Tech + M-Tech) programme in IIT Patna is done through the Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE-Advanced) ALL INDIA RANKING (AIR).
