Eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE advanced 2021?
All candidates must meet each of the following five criteria to appear in JEE Advance:
- Students must secure rank among the top 2,24,000* (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main, then only he/she will be eligible to get admission in IIT Bombay.
- A student can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
- A candidate willing to get into IIT Bombay should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time,else he/she will not be eligible for the IIT Bombay cut-off.
- A candidate should not have been admitted into IIT Bombay otherwise, he/she will not be eligible for admissions into IIT Bombay in. Aspirants whose admission at any IIT was cancelled after joining any IIT are also not eligible to appear in IIT Bombay cut-off.

What is the admission procedure for IIT Bombay?
IIT Bombay has a comprehensive graduate program offering doctoral degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The undergraduate students at IIT Bombay are selected through the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2018 of the IITs for the undergraduate curriculum. Admission to the B-Tech and Dual Degree (B-Tech + M-Tech) programme in IIT Bombay is done through the Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE-Advanced) ALL INDIA RANKING (AIR).
