Eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE advanced 2018?

All candidates must meet each of the following five criteria to give JEE Advanced 2018:

• Candidates should be among the top 2,24,000* (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2018 then only he/she will be eligible to get admission in IIT Roorkee.

 Category-wise distribution of top 2,24,000* candidates (Criterion 1)

• Age limit for IIT Roorkee cut-off 2018: Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1993. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates for IIT Roorkee cut-off 2018, i.e. these candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1988.
• Number of attempts for IIT Roorkee cut-off 2018: A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced 2018 a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
• Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: A candidate aspiring for admissions into IIT Roorkee should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2017 or 2018 else he/she will not be eligible for IIT Roorkee cut-off 2018.
• Earlier admission at IIT Roorkee: A candidate should nothave been admitted in IIT Roorkee otherwise, he/she will not be eligible for admissions into IIT Roorkee in 2018. Candidates whose admission at any IIT was cancelled after joining any IIT are also not eligible to appear in IIT Roorkee cut-off 2018.

IIT Roorkee cut-off 2017 for Scheduled Castes category consists of the minimum cut-off ranks that a SC category applicant will have to secure to be eligible for admission in IIT Roorkee. IIT Roorkee 2018 reservation policy can be availed by candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD/Defence Personnel categories in IIT Roorkee. What is the admission procedure for IIT Roorkee?
