Admission Process for MS Ramaiah Medical College - Entrance through NEET 2018
MS Ramaiah Medical College is one of the most prestigious colleges in India. This is a private college, which belongs to the Rajiv Gandhi University.
Candidates entering MSRMC should qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2017) conducted by CBSE and ultimately MSRMC cut-off 2018. In addition to AIIMS and JIPMER, NEET 2018 is the only Medical entrance examination conducted in India for UG admission. To become eligible for admission to MBBS / BDS programs in NEET 2017, the candidate has to score minimum 50% of the gross (40% in case of SC / ST and OBC candidates).
Admission to MSRMC is strictly based on the merit list of candidates achieved in MS Ramaiah Medical College cut-off 2018 belonging to different categories, which are issued by the University of Medicine and Faculty of Science and Rajiv Gandhi University. Only if the seats are vacant after preparation of eligibility list in MS Ramaiah Medical College cut-off 2018 of Bangalore- candidates, desirable candidates from outside Bangalore will be considered for counseling.
Counseling is organized for medical candidates based on their score obtained in MSRMC cut-off 2018. Candidates will be informed about the various courses available to them. Candidates who are already pursuing MBBS / BDS from any institute shall not be given any allotment of seat in counseling after the MS Ramaiah Medical College cut-off 2018 is declared.

MSRMC Reservation Policy in 2018
The distribution of seats is according to the rules of Rajiv Gandhi University.15% of the total seats are filled on the basis of NEET 2018 score and hence MSRMC Bangalore cut-off 2018. The remaining 85% is filled on the basis of norms prescribed by the Rajiv Gandhi University.Seats are reserved for candidates of India for 2018 admission to MSRMC. Eligibility for applying for MSRMC MBBS Examination in 2018
- The candidate who wants to apply for the 2018 admission in MS Ramaiah Medical College should be an Indian.
- Candidates must complete the age of 17 before 31 December 2017. Upper age limit is 25 years but for the candidates belonging to scheduled castes / scheduled tribes / other backward classes, there is a 5-year remission.
- Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English in class 11th and 12th from recognized schools conducting regular classes in Bangalore-.
- Candidates have to pass the above-mentioned examination in all subjects.
- Candidates who have passed Class 12th from the Open Education School are not eligible to apply for the MSRMC cut-off 2018.
- Candidates who have given the Annual Examination of the year 2017 and got compartment will not be eligible irrespective of the fact that they clear MS Ramaiah Medical College cut-off 2018 or not.
Counseling Details
- Candidates who have been temporarily admitted to a particular course will be present before the Medical Board on the dates given by the respective college/institute for the medical board. A candidate will not be allowed to join the course if he is found to be unqualified for the course irrespective of the fact that he clears MSRMC cut-off 2018 or not.
- Waiting list of candidates for MSRMC after the MSRMC cut-off 2018 is out: Candidates who were present for counseling and successfully cleared MSRMC cut-off 2018 and before the turn of the counseling will be given courses in prescribed Performa under MSRMC. Candidates who have not selected any seat at the time of counseling will also be kept on the waiting list.
- It should be taken as an undertaking that the candidate does not pursue MBBS / BDS courses anywhere in India at the time of the counseling. If any MBBS / BDS course pursuing candidate have been recruited/maintained in India, then they will need to produce cancellation certificate from the concerned college/institute within 4 working days from the date of temporary allocation of the seat. All the concerned candidates will have to this whether or not they cleared MS Ramaiah Medical College cut-off 2018.
